Guilty pleasures
This week’s challenge for the League of Extraordinary Bloggers was suggested by Derek. A while back, our geek confessions topic unearthed some serious cans of worms, and I think this week’s topic might dig up a few more…

Guilty pleasures.

So... what qualifies as a guilty pleasure? Wikipedia defines it as "A guilty pleasure is something one enjoys and considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt for enjoying it. The "guilt" involved is sometimes simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow or otherwise embarrassing tastes, such as campy styles of entertainment. Fashion, video games, music, films, and junk food can be examples of guilty pleasures." I don't have any guilty pleasures. Don't believe me? Read on.
Ok, let's go down the list:
Fashion - Can't think of anything here. I like to dress well. I don't consider myself a fashion guru or fashionista and I don't go around wearing odd clothes.
Video Games - Absolutely nothing to feel guilty about here. Everyone knows I love video games. I'll play anything from Pac-Man to Grand Theft Auto.
Music - I was a mobile DJ for almost two decades. I might listen to stuff that surprises you, but nothing I feel guilty about. Ok, there might be that one song (and video) that I'll never admit publicly that I really, really like. Too bad LiLo has gone downhill. WAY downhill.
Films - Movies a guilty pleasure? Not likely. Action, explosions, aliens... That's what movies are all about. Don't give me any of that romantic, sissy, lovey-dovey stuff. Well, maybe except for "Love, Actually". C'mon, that movie has Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Rowan Atkinson, Claudia Schiffer... I could go on and on. And then there is "The Notebook" and "P.S., I Love You" and "The Vow" and "Because I Said So" and "The Holiday" and....
Oh, I guess I just my guilty pleasure. Don't tell anyone, especially my wife. I'll be forced to have a romantic movie marathon over the weekend. Actually, that might not be so bad...

Other guilty pleasures from around the League.
I actually have something in common with GoodWill Hunting. Glad I'm not alone.
New members of the League, Pop Rewind, had some interesting pleasures.
Flashlight's list was all over the place, but I gotta agree with #1, 3, and 9. And I didn't realize Vanilla Ice had 7 albums.
Shout out to AEIOU and Sometimes Y, I still listen to those albums.
